Mobile Backstage (Facebook Version) Guide

Mobile Backstage is the ultimate interactive fan club that helps develop meaningful relationships between artists and fans and creates a transportable community of fans that can be carried throughout artist’s career.

Check your Mailbox. Do you have a link to your Mobile Backstage app? Click it!
Log in to Facebook. Make sure you're listed as an admin of your band's Facebook Page. (?)
This is your App Page. On the lower left, click 'Add to My Page'
Find your band's Facebook Page and click 'Add to Page'.
Ta-da! Your Mobile Backstage has been added to your band's Facebook Page.

Edit tab: You can change your avatar picture, set your date of birth, gender, hometown and write something about yourself.
Messages tab: This is a your message feed. Here you can see all the comments and private messages. You will get notifications whenever someone comments on your posts.

Add some exclusive pictures, a few fun videos or some sound clips from your upcoming album. Be creative and think what your fans would want.

Use the Message button on the bottom-right to write a welcome message for the fans. If you’re an admin of the band’s Facebook page, your message will appear on the band’s Wall.
Spread the word! Use Facebook, Twitter, newsletter, website to let your fans know about your new Mobile Backstage.

Map it out - With the help of our handy map, you can see where your fans are and what they are doing in realtime.
Shout box - Click the blow horn and let the world know how you feel. With the shout box, you and your fans can write quick status updates.
Post to the map - At the bottom of your Mobile Backstage: You can post pictures, sound clips, videos or simple messages.

Popular - The top row shows popular users and the row below shows popular posts. The posts will appear on the map.
Band - Your fans will see band posts in chronological order. And these posts will show up on the map.
Charts - You can customize your browsing by choosing how to sort material and profiles.

Keep your fans up-to-date on all your past and future events. Events will appear on your Mobile Backstage map as flags – red flags for upcoming shows and gray flags for past shows.
Your fans can click on a flag to see event details, buy tickets, “check in” at an event and see who else is coming.
The Toggle Route button will help them map out your tour route.

Click the Dashboard button on the top-right corner.
Stats - You can see detailed user statistics.
Band HQ - If not all of your band members are using Mobile Backstage, you can use the Dashboard to post material on their behalf.
Events - This is where you can add your shows, gigs and events.
Music - Coming soon.
The Wall & Users - See your fans and the material they have posted.
Inappropriate content - Monitor, manage and measure your community.
